The Kiumma Project is a local private development project around the hospital of Matemanga

near Tunduru, at the border of Mozambique

Concerning Jatropha, the electrical energy supply will be based on 

Solar Energy (photovoltaic) and 

Jatropha oil to replace the diesel fuel.

The old 30 kW gen-set will be replaced by a new 20 kW gen-set which will also run on Jatropha oil, which will be bought from the farmers of the region !
