In the West Nile Region Jatropha is planted by the autochthon population as well as by the the refugees in the camps, who do subsistence agriculture on small plots (0,3 - 0,5 ha per person). It seems that the population does not use the Jatropha fruits. The hedges are there just for fencing. |
